DPWH Region 4A Director Jovel G. Mendoza reported the project’s completion, emphasizing its potential to significantly benefit the local community.
Lipa City Community Park New Facilities
The park features a 50-meter by 25-meter Olympic-size swimming pool equipped with a modern water pump system to ensure optimal maintenance and water quality. This facility is expected to attract swimming enthusiasts and serve as a venue for local competitions and training programs.
In addition to the pool, a mini football field with synthetic grass has been constructed. The durable, high-quality surface is designed to withstand heavy use, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for football players of all ages.
The project also included the installation of a detention tank for flood mitigation, which will help manage water runoff during heavy rains, reducing the risk of flooding in the area. To enhance the visitor experience, additional public toilets and gazebos have been added, along with a coffee shop and food kiosks, offering convenient amenities for park-goers.
Infrastructure upgrades were also a key part of the project. The park’s driveways and walkways have been renovated with a stamped concrete system. Refurbished landscaped areas further enhance the park’s beauty, providing a pleasant environment for relaxation and leisure activities.
