The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and SM Prime Holdings Inc. officially inaugurated the SM North EDSA Busway Concourse on Thursday, March 13, 2025.

The newly opened state-of-the-art facility provides commuters with a convenient and safe transportation access point, ensuring safer and more efficient urban mobility.
Situated in front of SM North EDSA, the busway concourse serves as a vital interchange station along the Quezon City stretch of EDSA, offering commuters seamless access to multiple transportation options and nearby commercial hubs.
The newly built facility includes well-lit, covered walkways, ramps, and elevators designed to provide easy access for all commuters, especially senior citizens, pregnant women, and individuals with disabilities (PWDs).
The Inauguration
SM Prime President Jeffrey Lim, DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon, and other officials from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Department of Public Works and Highways were present during the inauguration.

SM North EDSA Busway Concourse marks a significant milestone, as commuter groups and EDSA busway advocates led the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the project.
This project is part of a larger initiative of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to integrate and streamline public transport along EDSA, ensuring faster and more comfortable journeys for daily commuters.
