2020 Civil Engineering Board Exam Requirements

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has started accepting applications for the 2020 Civil Engineering Board Exam last July 1, 2020. The exam is scheduled to take place on November 15 and 16. 

 

Take note of the following requirements in order to apply for the licensure exam. 

 

  • Most recent NBI Clearance

  • Two (2) Certificates of Good Moral Character

  • NSO Birth Certificate

    • Exam taker must be a Filipino citizen and 21 years of age

  • Transcript of Records

    • High school Diploma

    • 2×2 Pictures

    • Medical Records

  • Examination Fee Payment

  • Payment of 900 pesos – complete

The deadline for filing applications is on October 1, 2020. 

As PRC offices are currently implementing strict health regulations, applicants are encouraged to apply online through https://online1.prc.gov.ph/. Those who need assistance with the online application process may refer to this guide

Applicants are also advised to send their payments using online applications (Pay Maya, Landbank, Gcash). If needed, PRC offices are open for appointments under the current General Community Quarantine. 

Keep in mind that the PRC has made several announcements in the past few months concerning the postponement of several national licensure exams. Among these were scheduled for the months of June, July, and August. Other licensure exams such as for Architecture and Civil Engineering will proceed as normal as of writing. Those interested are encouraged to follow the PRC social media page for further scheduling updates.

The exam is scheduled to last for two days and covers the following topics: 

  • Mathematics 

  • Surveying

  • Hydraulics

  • Design and Construction
